Two of Elise's Fav's

I have been meaning to do a post about an amazing wonder created by Fisher Price.

This little guy right here.  The Ocean Wonders Soothe & Glow Seahorse.

Elise received Seahorse (that's what we officially call him) for Christmas last year.  Ever since then, she goes to sleep listening to his soothing sounds every. night.

When she would wake up in the middle of the night, viola... turn on Seahorse and back to peaceful slumber.

We have replaced his batteries twice since having him.  When we hear his batteries start to fade, we are on the hunt for some AA batteries STAT!

One night she barfed ALL OVER HIM.  We took out the important electronic part and threw him in the washing machine at 10:30pm with the other linens.

While I was thinking about this post, I was going to encourage anyone that has or is going to have a baby to invest in a Seahorse.  Elise absolutely loves him.

But I think there is another toy that is equally important as Seahorse.

While we were out of town Elise fell in love with a new friend.

Her cousin, Casen has Scout.

He's from LeapFrog.

She played with him on the way to dinner in the car.  She hugged him, squeezed him, and laughed.

Scout is personalizeable.  He gets plugged into the computer with a USB cable.  You then program in your child's name, favorite food, color, and animal.  As well as pick out 10 songs you want Scout to play.

Elise has toys that she has "liked", but nothing that has inspired a reaction like that of Scout.

So, the next day we ran right out to Toys R Us and bought her VIOLET!

We personalized Violet to say 'Elise' and share her same favorites such as blueberries and dogs.  We put her down in the crib with Violet and she lunged on her and wrapped her little arms around the toy.  That was one of the best $19.99 ever spent!

So, if you or someone you know is having a baby shower, birthday, or in need or a gift idea Elise can vouch for Seahorse and Violet!
