Elise was perfect on the plane. She fell right to sleep after nursing, and no one heard a peep from her on the way there. She was very good on the way home, too. A little fussy in the beginning but fell asleep again. I must say what a relief it is to know she won't be a little demon (knock on wood) next time we choose to travel by air.
Meme asked me if she could throw Elise a little birthday party since all the family was in town and she wouldn't be able to make it to the one we are having. It was a lot of fun. Elise got her first taste of cake and ice cream, but didn't "dig in" and make a mess. Maybe she's warming up to it and will go all out at the birthday party here at home.
My cousin got married Saturday night. We ate, we danced, we laughed. Jason and I are both exhausted from the whirlwind trip, and I know Elise is pretty tired herself despite napping on the plane. The one thing I don't like about taking trips is getting her off of her schedule. We will quickly be getting back into her normal routine to save everyone's sanity.
I will have more to post later, but until then, here are a few pictures.

Wedding Festivities
Did I say "a few?" I meant A LOT!
